District Clerk Managers and Supervisors Announce October Employee Commendations

OCTOBER 2008 DISTRICT CLERK COMMENDATIONS

GREG ALLBRIGHT COMMENDS:
Brittny Owens for her outstanding work setting up the District Clerk’s new blog at http://dallasdistrictclerk.blogspot.com/

LEONARD BLACKWELL COMMENDS:
Rhonda Ford and George Vent for completing their Star of Excellence awards, with special recognition to Rhonda for completing the program in six months while at the same time training and managing the Accounting Department.

SHEILA BRADLEY COMMENDS:
Caroll Jones for volunteering to help whenever any need arises outside her own duties.
Peter Botos for speaking at a clerks’ meeting about transcripts.
Yvonne Hampton and Norma Garza for verifying addresses already on the computer database.
Virginia Etherly for adding all additional parties, attorneys and addresses to the computer database
Mary MacDonald and Peter Botos for their continued hard work in the absence of the lead transcript clerk.
Linda Schaffer, Rita Rodgers, Evette Lamb, Springe McKinley, Edith Ciuccio, Patricia Elliott for keeping process with zero backlog.
Dianne Coffey and Lavon Stanberry for quickly learning to issue citations during this season. Franchesca Zarate for entering attorneys’ changes of address into the computer database.

PAULA BURCH-WADE COMMENDS:
Bernita Jefferson, Tonya Pointer and Virginia Etherly for making a substantial contribution in maintaining a high level of productivity without compromising quality during our peak season of Tax Appraisal and Foreclosure case filings.
Norma Garza, Anita Freeney, Yvonne Hampton, Berylinda Walker and Bernita Jefferson for filing over 1000 new cases each during the three months of our peak season.
Franchesca Zarate for implementing the new procedures for Attorney Updates.
The entire file desk for helping with updating attorneys’ information by asking for their e-mail addresses.

MARY CANNON COMMENDS:
All staff for working hard while dealing with the voluntary hiring freeze.

DAVID DANIELS AND ANNE ERWIN COMMEND:
Denise Mailey, new Evidence Registrar, for exhibiting exceptional organization skills and determination during her first month.
Mariela Avalos and Abby Rodriguez for covering the open cashier position during the hiring freeze.

VIRGINIA ETHERLY AND MARIA SANCHEZ COMMEND:
IV-D staff for meeting the goal to process all Administrative Writs for the month of August and being up-to-date in September.
Civil and Family File Desk and Juvenile staff for reporting zero backlog for the month of September.
254th clerks Zelda Ridge and Tavarya Jordan, 301st clerks Donna Hall and Diana Williams, 303rd clerks Eva Richardson and Mark Morales, and the GAL section for keeping their courts current, showing a dramatic decrease over the last month.

DOROTHY LANKFORD COMMENDS:
Michele Morneault, LaFonda Sims and Matt Little for having perfect attendance records during FY 2008.
Isaac Elizarraras for having a perfect attendance record during the second and third quarter FY 2008.
Michele Morneault and Terri Kilgore for voluntarily providing back-up support for Civil and Family.

MICHAEL LINDLEY COMMENDS:
Irma Torres for her enthusiasm and competence in learning many duties she will assume during Denise Alvarez’s maternity leave.

NINA MOUNTIQUE COMMENDS:
Salonda Brown and Tasha Buckley for performing exceptionally well on their two-month clerk's test.
Rita Flores for assistance in processing Chapter 263 files.
Eneida Sanders and Darron Thompson for expediting a spreadsheet report to meet deadlines.


STAN TUNGATE COMMENDS:
Florretta Hampton for assisting Criminal Records in addition to performing her regular duties in Civil and Family Records.
