COUNTY CLERK JOHN WARREN BUILDS
MOTIVATED TEAM AND INSPIRING SPACES

Since assuming office as Dallas County Clerk in January 2007, John Warren and his Chief Deputy, Ed Bailey, have worked tirelessly to communicate with every member of his staff, building a solid team dedicated to providing superb customer service and taking pride in their performance of every task.

Mr. Warren has overseen the completion of his renovations plans in some of the oldest areas of the Records Building. The crowded spaces on the second floor have been replaced with sleek, efficient service areas that are configured to allow more clerks to be at front desks and move customers through more rapidly. “Happier clerks produce happier customers, and these spaces were designed to inspire our staff and accommodate their needs to perform their jobs efficiently,” says Mr. Warren.

In addition, Mr. Warren’s team staffs a call center to which all County Clerk employees can refer calls, knowing that the call center’s specially trained members will route customers to the proper destination to serve their needs. “We’ve significantly reduced the number of complaints from customers who are unable to reach the areas they need by creating our call center, dedicated to helping all callers successfully complete their objective.”

“We are proud to share a common civil filing room with the County Clerk’s outstanding staff and the energy they bring to Dallas County,” says District Clerk Gary Fitzsimmons. “Our offices have the kind of collaborative co-operation that produces the highest quality services to the citizens of Dallas County.”
