E-FILER OF THE QUARTER, DAVID GODSEY
The Godsey Law Firm PC

DAVID GODSEY BUILDING SUCCESSFUL FIRM USING
“BEST PRACTICES,” INCLUDING E-FILING

Local attorney David Godsey was working at his computer one day almost a year ago when he received an email from ProDoc explaining the many benefits of using its e-filing services. Having used e-filing in other counties, Mr. Godsey was excited to learn that he could now file on-line in Dallas County District Courts, where a majority of his cases are filed.

He began using the service immediately and has not filed a paper petition since that time.
And since he and his staff at The Godsey Law Firm file approximately a dozen cases a month, e-filing saves an enormous amount of time, and therefore, money.

“Time is critical for all attorneys, but especially those who have their own firm and must constantly watch the bottom line,” adds Mr. Godsey. “E-filing is by far the most efficient way to handle cases because of the amount of time spent in traffic, finding parking spaces, standing in lines and waiting for the traditional paper process.”

“I certainly recommend e-filing to all attorneys, regardless of their areas of practice, because of the economy of time and money, a concern for us all,” adds Mr. Godsey. “E-filing is beneficial in numerous ways for any practice, it supports environmental concerns, and is a winning work tool for all involved.”

A graduate of Texas Weslyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Mr. Godsey has built a practice of almost 450 clients in five years. A native of Austin, Texas, he now resides in Arlington with his wife and four children.
