Michael Clark, a long-time veteran of the Dallas County District clerk's office, has dedicated 24 years of service to the Records Department. He uses his extensive familiarity with all phases of record retention to assist the department daily serving customers and the courts.
For instance, when files have been inadvertently processed incorrectly, Mike invariably is successful in locating those files because he knows procedures so well. Through the years, Mike has developed a special bond with the Civil/Family court clerks, and he is considered the "go-to” person when those clerks need help locating files. It is that kind of reliability that makes him an invaluable part of the District Clerk's office.
The father of Michelle and Annette, he is also an active member in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville and in the Knight of Columbus, a Catholic organization devoted to managing charities.
An avid square dancer on the competitive level, Mike also enjoys golfing, camping and bowling.
Mike is so dedicated to his work that his Supervisor has to remind him to take his vacation time. His deep commitment makes him an inspiration to co-workers in his department as well as throughout the District Clerk’s office.
