A 24-year employee of Dallas County, Paula Burch-Wade is Civil/Family File Desk Supervisor where she was previously Electronic Filing Coordinator. Having recently completed Dallas County’s Star of Excellence program, she continues to bring innovative ideas to her department, such as a new signage project to improve customer service, and the reorganization of mail distribution to speed processing of court documents and other communications. In addition to her departmental responsibilities, Paula is always eager to offer her support for office-wide projects and currently serves on the District Clerk's Benevolence Committee and the District Clerk’s Discretionary Account Committee.
Married to Tyrone Wade for three years, Paula is also a devoted aunt to Austin. A member of Greater Mount Hebron Baptist Church, she sings in the church choir, and she participates on the Praise and Worship Team and in Praise Dancing. Paula is also a member of The Black Academy of Arts and Letters Concert Choir, which has offered opportunities to travel and sing with professional gospel artists.
Paula says that she is extremely pleased that her career has progressed through out her years in Dallas County, but is particularly pleased with the significant changes made under the current administration, bringing technological innovations to the management of cases, from filing to record retention.
